Being the girls’ favorite app, we couldn’t miss bringing you the details about Instagram’s latest feature.

First tested in late November 2019 in Brazil, Instagram Reels became officially part of Instagram on 5th August, 2020.

Reels are very much like TikTok videos, in fact, most people call it TikTok’s rival.
Reels are a feature that lets users create and publish 15-second videos using a new set of editing tools that include options like AR effects, a countdown timer, a new align tool to line up different takes and, of course, music.

The feature is currently available in 50 counties across the globe including the US, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the U.K., Japan, Australia and many more.

Using Reels is easy because it’s built into the Instagram Camera which people already know how to use. To create a new Reel, you’ll select the option at the bottom of the Instagram Camera, next to Story.
Reels can also be saved in draft to be published later. They can be shared to your feed, story and even as Direct Messages.

Similar to IGTV, friends can be tagged in Reels, not mentioned being able to add hashtags that can help you reach a much wider audience. To find reels to watch, go to the explore page and at the very top you’ll see a video with small sign of a clapperboard down in the left corner.

Any account can use Reels as long as the feature is available in your country. So go ahead and try out this new feature.
